Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is open to all who feel called—whether you're just beginning your spiritual journey or are a seasoned practitioner. If you’re curious, seeking deeper healing, longing to reconnect with your cosmic origins, or ready to activate your higher self, you are welcome here.
Do I need any prior experience?
No experience is necessary. This retreat is designed to meet you where you are and gently guide you into higher awareness, healing, and multidimensional connection.
What will we be doing during the retreat?
This is a hands-on, experiential weekend. We will be mostly outside, having many types of workshops to help you connect with your natural psychic and intuitive abilities, and learn how to fine-tune them. You will learn how to work with energy, bend time, and how to read information from trees, land, water, and connecting with horses!
You’ll participate in a powerful mix of guided meditations, sacred ceremonies, sound healing, past-life regression, star-gazing, energetic attunements, Light Language activations, spiritual teachings, and hands-on practices like crafting your own medicine bag. You’ll also receive live channeled guidance, personal messages, and quantum insights. There will be breaks and periods of down time to enjoy kayaking, swimming or a hike.
What should I wear or bring?
We’ll be outdoors for most of the retreat, so please dress comfortably, casually and appropriately for the weather.

A bathing suit and towel (if you'd like to swim in the spring-fed pond)
A reusable water bottle (optional, for chilled herbal teas)

Will there be walking or physical activity?
Yes, but it’s gentle. We'll do a small amount of walking—nothing strenuous or steep. All activities are designed to be accessible, with moments of movement balanced by rest and reflection. The Air BNB that some of the event will be in is up one flight of stairs - there is not an elevator.
Is this a religious event?
No. While the retreat is deeply spiritual and draws upon ancient, cosmic, and intuitive wisdom traditions, it is not affiliated with any religion. It’s a safe, inclusive space for open exploration of consciousness and connection.
Where is the retreat held?
The Boyd Family Ranch is a peaceful, natural setting that supports deep connection with the Earth, the cosmos, and your own soul. They are a registered Air BNB whose listing and photos you can see here.
What should I expect to feel by the end of the retreat?
You’ll leave feeling spiritually realigned, cosmically connected, and deeply empowered. Most participants experience a sense of clarity, peace, confidence, and energetic activation—along with a deeper understanding of their soul’s path and purpose.

What if the weather is bad?
The ranch has a large, covered pavillion if rain comes in, or if there are terrential downpours, we will move to the Air B&B. If rain is in the forecast, please bring an umbrella and/or rain poncho. Rain is good. We will dance in it!

The Lion's Gate Retreat is taking place at
Boyd Family Ranch in Otto, New York.
It is a beautiful, remote location on 110 acres. We will have full access to the farm animals including many horses, hiking trails, and a spring-fed, 4-acre pond for swimming and/or kayaking.

Refund Policy:
1. All tickets and lodging, if selected, are fully refundable through July 31.
2. Ticket cancelations made August 1 - August 5 will receive a 70% refund.
3. LODGING Cancelations made after 11:59pm Aug 2-5 will receive a 50% refund.
4. All cancelations made after 11:59pm August 5 will not be refunded. Tickets ARE transferrable - you must notify Suzy in writing via email hello@suzy-woo.com.
